Equipment guide not making gear suggestions

I'm not sure if its something I've done or what but now my guide isn't making gear suggestions when I receive new gear. Any suggestions how I can fix this?

Check your guide viewer settings and see if you turned the equipment manager off.

Having the same issue - and it's no longer recommending gear at the end of each question...
