where you have to collect 12 spores, killing fungal giant (easy kill with help of your garrison boys) drops quest starting item wich is supposed to be delivered to rangari Chel. Do not know what happens if you hire rangari Chel - she is one of later available 3 choices.
Not a big deal but just for guide to be perfect.

You mean in the mushroom zone? Looks like I never killed one of the big guys, I only kill the rare mob there

The problem with killing elites is that not few people will run into trouble. There are always people asking for help for the wanted quests in Shadowmoon...

Maybe the Zygor team can leave it as a tip in the other steps there like "if you can handle an elite feel free to kill one".

If it's an elite fungal giant that you killed then that would be why it's not in the guide. Our guides are meant to be solo friendly and not everyone can handle elites when solo. What was the name of the quest that you got from the dropped item?

Yeah, the Umbraspore Giants that drop that item are considered elite mobs so that is why we did not direct you to try to get the drop for that one quest. Not everyone can easily solo an elite. The quest itself is not really needed for leveling as there are plenty of quests in the guide for that and it's not required for the story line achievement which is the closest thing to Loremaster for WoD.
