The current state of gear upgrades in Zygor WoD is totally borked. After equipping a newer and higher item level it suggests putting the old lower level gear back on. This is especially annoying when you zone into a new area and it tries to re-equip older lower level gear that you have already told it to decline. It also seems that the gear guide is not taking into account the WoD stat changes and seems to be putting preference on older depricated stats from MoP or earlier.

Desertdwarf, for this particular instance I know that the heirloom style items like the decapitator are only being scored as if they were level 90 instead of their current level and that is most likely why you are seeing this suggestion. This is a bug we are working on.

Amangum, when you open the guide selection window what does it show in the lower left for the version number?
