Zygor Arrow not pointing in the right direction

The zygor waypoint arrow points back toward me on the screen and does not move no matter what direction I go....

Is something or some other setting conflicting with it?

This happened me too, just restarted game client and it worked again.

I have a few other errors though....

Try resetting your guides by going to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there.

Just tried that (even reinstalling Zygor). Same problem. The Arrow shows the right direction for 1 or 2 seconds, then resets to red and points at me (points straight towards bottom of screen). By clicking the arrow or one of the quest objectives, it seems to reset the arrow and it shows the right direction for 1-2 again before it points towards the bottom of the screen again. Really annoying.

With the addons I am currently running, this does not work. Resetting my guides "by going to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and deleting the Zygor files in there" does not work either (which I've done for the past 3 days, just keep things current).

I'm having the same problem fubhy reported in post #5 in this thread.

If I disable all of my addons, the arrow stops pointing down (or toward me) and turning red, but seems to get stuck on pointing towards Teldrassil or some other seemingly random area as I have no other quests (instead of always facing me even if I turn 180 degrees), however the text under the arrow which tells you where to go for the next step (Go to <zone> <coordinates>) still works.

The arrow started working now after I continued to finish the WoW Download via the battle.net client over night. Does this problem maybe only occur when you are playing the game while it hasn't yet finished downloading completely?

While we've never personally run into this problem (we always wait for the update to complete), that does make sense that only having the game partially loaded would potentially cause issues.

Just returned to Wow, and, of course, HAD to reinstall this WONDERFUL guide! So, no add ons at all. Complete update of game and new xpac not yet purchased. Am having the exact same issue. Red arrow pointing down only. If I click on it, it will point me where to go for a second or 2......then back to red arrow and facing straight down.

Any idea's folks? Sure dont wanna play without you folks aty my side!

Try going into the guide viewer options and turning off the Travel System. That should get it to point in a straight line to where you need to go. My understanding on the system is that the 1-2 seconds it's working is when it's pointing in a straight line, and then it's getting confused when trying to determine your route which is causing it to point down and red. So theoretically you should be able to turn off the Travel System so it's not trying to find a route and it should just point to where you need to be. Just keep in mind it won't suggest flights, or hearthing, or enter this cave or go up this path or things like that, just a basic arrow pointing to the destination.

Hi, I am having same issue. Even if i turn off the travel system it doesn't work for more then a few seconds

Which zone are you standing in and where is the guide step trying to direct you to go?

Having the same issue, I disabled the travel system and i'm in Jade forrest / Honeydew village. Only works for a few seconds.

Edit: restarting the game seemed to fix this issue.

yea i was having the same issue, the only thing that worked to get the arrow and waypoints working was to restart the battle.net launcher and wait for it to initialize loading then press play
