Hidden VAT charges until you make order!

I don't reside in the US nor have I any intention to visit. I don't see the legality of charging VAT for none physical goods to non national users & to my knowledge, you can't enforce VAT charges for non physical goods because the VAT is only chargeable for such countries citizens & no internationals have to pay.

Was thinking about upgrading as I have recently returned to wow but I'm not paying VAT to a country I do not reside or a citizen of & the cost of VAT is covered by yourself & not the customer!

We do not charge VAT taxes. All of our sales go thru the Clickbank marketplace and they are the company that has agreements setup internationally for collecting and remitting taxes to the proper governmental authorities. They have these agreements in place because there are vendors all over the world that use Clickbank to sell their products and customers all over the world that purchase the various products.

If you feel that Clickbank is not legally allowed to charge you VAT or have any questions about this practice please contact Clickbank directly about this. http://www.clickbank.com/contact-us/

Yeah I will be doing so. Services provided outside of the EU can't charge VAT for those within the EU.

Also, the currency rates is also wrong. Do Clickbank set the exchange rates or are these set at fixed rates because they don't appear to be fluid rates otherwise $15.00 = £10.21 would be $15.00 = £9.58

Clickbank sets the exchange rates. I do not know how often they update the rates.

I believe Clickbank has facilities set up in several countries where they make the credit card charge locally (Instead of from the US)... Being in Australia, I have never gotten the conversion fee I'd normally get, like I would from most online shops (Excluding ones like Blizzard that operate locally).

Because of that, Clickbank is probably required to charge VAT to EU users, the same as Blizzard is required to. I believe Blizzard and Clickbank (And others that operate in Australia) are also required to pay GST, similar to your VAT.

Honestly, I think the best idea would be for Zygor to use their own shopping cart system, and accept payments via Paypal directly... As ZG has no part situated in the EU (Or AU), they wouldn't be required under local law to collect and pay tax.

That said, if you do decide to contact Clickbank, do let us know what they have to say
