quests that have an item to click to the right of the quest name seems to be broken

After accepting a quest in Draenor that uses an item; the quest is shown in the list with the item to the right of the quest. Clicking the item results in an error and the item does not work. You can use the item from your bags and it works as expected.
I am using the latest version 5.0.11149. Don't know if this exists on the horde side. But I have seen this problem on the alliance side with several different races and classes.

This is a Blizzard side bug that affects several addons. You can use this addon (http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/questitembuttonfix) to work around the bug until Blizzard fixes it.
