Direction Arrow Disapears

Since this last update to zygors the direction arrow keeps disappearing after every step you can make it reappear by clicking the waypoint on your minimap. I would guess this is a bug

Have you tried testing with all other addons disabled?

Yes and it is still disappearing after every step

I have this issue too. You can repeatably make it point again by clicking on it, but it'll stop working again a second later.

Can you give me a guide and step number it's happening on? I've been in game testing with several different guides and I have been unable to get the arrow to disappear to replicate this.

@funfun3, when the arrow points down and stops working that is normally either you needing to type /re into chat to reload the UI or it's a conflict with a map/minimap addon you have going. Please try reloading the UI and/or disabling all other addons to see if it starts working again.

Its been doing it so far since I started today in the Badlands, Burning Steps, and Seering Gorge Alliance guides and it also disappears when I open and close my map

Do you have any map or minimap addons installed? Sexymap, tomtom, carbonite, etc?

no map addons except handynotes but that's disabled at the time

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. Exit WoW
2. Go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. Go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. Run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. Go back in game and see if that fixed it

Doing the full guide wipe/reset fixed the problem, thanks for the help, guess I should have thought of trying that earlier. BTW still a great guide after all these years and great fast service

Same problem here ...full guide wipe/reset fixed the problem ... but I think I know why : before the last update when you had the travel system disable the waypoint arrow was pointing to the next step automatically but since the last update if the travel system is disable the waypoint arrow doesn't work.
