Can't accept 'Through the Dark Portal' from Warlord Dar'toon (Hellfire Peninsula)

At Hellfire Peninsula (60-62)
Step 1 tells me to Accept 'Through the Dark Portal' from Warlord Dar'toon, but there is no such quest from him at all. Where can I find it?

What level are you? Are you high level and working on Loremaster stuff?

I'm level 60, and no I'm not working on the Loremaster stuff at the moment.

Ok, that is why you can't get the quest in the guide. Through the Dark Portal and Hero's Board: Outland! are mutually exclusive quests. This means you can only ever do one of them so if you have one in the log or completed one then you will not be able to get the other one. Both of the quests lead you to the exact same person and are essentially identical so you can do either one. If you stick with the Hero's Board quest then you'll just have to manually step forward in the guide to go past the steps for the Dark Portal quest.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that I went and accepted 'Hero's Board: Outland!' after I found out I could not accept 'Through the Dark Portal' I have completed neither quests yet.

Ok, if you were able to accept the Hero's Board version then I'd say go ahead and use that one.

I can confirm that this quest apparently is not available anymore. I checked with a level 58 Horde DK and comments at Wowhead say the Alliance version of this quest is also not available.

I suggest removing this quest from the Horde and Alliance guides. It's not necessary as I was able to pick up the follow up "Arrival in Outlad" in Hellfire Peninsula.
Using the Hero's Board quest may be an alternative but this would require for the guide to know in which capital city you are to point you to the nearest board as afterwards you can use the Hellfire portal in any city.

Using a zeppelin to switch the continent for one quest would be wasted time. For example I was in Orgrimmar and needed to take the Zeppelin to Stranglethorn, from there fly to Blasted Lands, run around this stupid mountain between the flight point and the Dark Portal (because flight license requires level 60)...
If the guide did not use any breadcrumb quest it would have pointed me directly to the Hellfire portal in Orgrimmar.
