Guide not Working

Just installed the guide but it is not letting me level or quest. I just get pandaren guide or garrison guides. I need to lvl from 90- 100.

Help?

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. Exit WoW
2. Go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. Go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. Run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. Go back in game and see if that fixed it

I had the same issue just after installing the guide. Then I followed the instructions above. Now it does open the Gorgrond 92-94 guide automatically when I log on, but I can't choose any other guide. The Leveling section is completely empty (as is everything else, but as I only bought the Alliance & Horde leveling guide, that's no surprise).

@bmeister... Can you please post a screen shot of your installer client window. Sounds like something isn't setup right on it.

Repairing, reinstalling, deleting folder, deleting files above ... still "Gorgrond" levelling guide not found - only since last update

The guide asked me if I wanted to go to the Gorgrond guide, I "accepted" and nothing happened. Went to the guide section Levelling and only the two first guides show. Not the Gorgrond (or any of the others undboubtedly coming after that one).

Will go and reinstall, but since I am not the only one, seems something is off.

Well, I just emptied the two WoW folders, reinstalled the guide, set all my settings. Let it run through the guide I just finished. Again it asked if I wanted to go to Gorgrond guide. I accepted and ... nothing happens. The Gorgrond guide is still not in the list.

Kinda has me hanging now. Hope this can be resolved quickly.

looks like I have dropped back to the Trial version ... all the lvl 25+ guides are missing as well

Only thing that has happened that has not been the update is I have purchased the Gold preorder and the Panda upgrade

So I have simply done the standard Blizzard fix ... rename WTF to old_WTF, Cache to old_Cache and Interface told_Interface so they are effectively deleted (just archived incase) so it resets WoW completely ... and reinstalled Zygor Guides before any other Haddon ... fixed. Clearly required more than the more focussed file delete.

Not sure if related, but just in case. Decided to switch to lvl 45 Monk and level this guy up a bit further. When I go to the 1-60 sections, I find guides up to level 25 and then 57 and higher. NO guides for the 26-56 levels?

Something seems seriously off here.
