With the new self updater, should I discontinue Auctioneer scans?

That is entirely up to you. We do not use the Auctioneer or Auctionator scans but if you still want to use those addons alongside of our gold guide then you will probably still need to do the scans to keep their data current.

You should use the Zygor Client to download your realms Historical data, and our in-game scanner to get Current Prices. This combination is the most effective gold making pair.
