Problem with steps 222 to 225 in Talador

I had to enter a cave to do these steps, as soon as I get the quests it is telling me to exit the cave. Yet, everything I need to do is in the cave. Including where I had to kill An'dure the Awaken. The guide said exit the cave, then directed me to the boss. So I run around the mountain only to figure out the target is still in the cave.

But I tamed a new pet.

Make that up to step 230

Just to double check, when you're in game and you open the guide selection window (small drop down arrow on guide viewer) what does it display in the lower left for the version number?
