Auction data and tooltip data do not agree

Hi - hoping to get some help with my add on. My realm is properly syncing auction data, and after performing an auction scan, mousing over certain items is telling me prices / status of items that are not in line with the data it just pulled from the AH.

The add-on will frequently tell me the market is empty or prices are gouged, but when I go to post that item, neither is correct. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? It's making the auction side of things pretty useless.

Could you give me a more specific example of what is happening? Are you seeing this after you've purchased the item from the AH for flipping it?

Sure.

I just updated my server trends (Suramar), logged in, and did a scan of the auction house, which completed successfully. I went to go buy more Felblight, and when mousing over it in my bags, the Zygor Gold Data tooltip says the following: current lowest price, 143g, prices are down, updated 1m ago. Now, when I open the auctioneer and search for Felblight, the actual lowest price in the AH is 170g.

The same data appears in the Zygor inventory side panel at the auctioneer. It is misreporting the actual status of many of the items on the AH, as something looks like it'd be great to buy or sell, and then when I go to actually do that action, the prices on the AH do not agree with the add on.

Ok, just to make sure... You did not purchase any Felblight between doing the scan and seeing the wrong current lowest price tooltip? Also, how active is your market? Is it possible that there had been someone else to purchase the Felblight at 143g before you were looking for it?

Yup - confirmed I did not purchase any, and there is no way the AH items could've changed that drastically from the scan to the posting of the items (done within a minute). There were pages of Felblight posted from different users at different price points, all with different auction ending times. If someone had posted something in the interim, I'd expect it to be from a small pool of users and all would have 48h left on the auction.

I've confirmed it with many trade items, so it's unlikely that every single one is changing between scan and view. Something is definitely amiss.

I just posted something similar to this. The issue I'm seeing is that the addon is using Current Price as its main method of price basing. This is a major issue since many people post a starting bid much lower than the buyout. This also forces the addon to try and sell things a good bit under the actual lowest buyout.

Any update from Zygor? I posted this 6 weeks ago, and it's still an issue, and clearly some others are seeing it as well. I just captured some screen shots to further illustrate the problem. It says the market is empty (when it is not) but auctioneer is correctly reporting data.

This is being worked on and should be fixed soon.

It should be fixed at this point. Have you made sure to run the client recently and allow it to update the AH data?

I was not OP i was just reading forums as i was debating on making the purchase for the guides.

Ahh. Yeah, apparently Blizzard have all of the AH data tied in very closely with the mobile AH application and they had to take that mobile app down to do work on it. That unfortunately killed all of the AH data for everyone until they finished the work on the mobile app and got it all back online again.
