Alliance Burning Steppes (49-52) - Step 45

There seems to be a couple of glitches with this step in the Alliance levelling guide.

The "use" icon for the costume does not appear on the second block of the guide (i.e. the top block shows the quest status, and the second monitors whether you have the buff). This one applies from step 40 onwards.

And secondly, the second block is unable to correctly determine whether the buff is currently active. It seems the icon being scanned for is incorrect - it's looking for a Troll icon, instead of an Orc. Changing line 7999 to Achievement_Character_Orc_Female appears to correct it, so the buff is detected and the second block disappears (although it doesn't fix the "use" button being missing when you do not have the buff).

There appears to be specific race lines so it may help to note my character is a human female.

Hmm, that should have been fixed. I'll have to see if the fix got pushed over to the customer side.

I double checked - I'm running the latest version, 5.0.13641, if that helps any.

I just did this step myself (alliance worgen balance druid) it's not detecting I've used the disguise.

I have to manually complete that step (44/45) for it to proceed. Also the text above the arrow wasn't updating itself as I completed step 44 (polish 7 shoes for Grunt Work), it was still telling me I needed 7 when I had 4 of them done already at one point.

I have the newest guide (as in I reinstalled via the client and updated).

The arrow being delayed in updating can be a common thing, especially if you happen to be in combat. There are some limitation as to when we are allowed to update the text on the arrow because the arrow can be clicked (when changed to use an item) so Blizzard only allows it to be updated at certain times to avoid any botting type of activity.

The disguise not being detected should be fixed soon.
