Incorrect FP Location

The world quest "Out of the Woodwork" in Val'sharah is directing me to the wrong flight point (I guess its a bug with the travel system rather than this specific quest).

The description on the waypoint arrow says "Talk to XXX Fly to Gloaming Reef", and you do indeed fly to Gloaming Reef. However this is not the correct FP - the nearest is Starsong Refuge.

The map shows an intended destination flight point just near Shala'Nir (with the description Gloaming Reef Flight Path), but this does not exist (at least for Alliance?).

If automatic flights is enabled, then you will also flying to the actual Gloaming Reef FP, which is quite far from the actual quest.

Oh, it's worth noting that when I fly manually to Starsong Refuge, the guide recognises that this will leave me close enough to the quest location to not require an additional flight. I suppose it's just got Gloaming Reef in the wrong location.

Hmm, do you have any other addons that deal with the flights in any way or set points on the map/mini map? This is the first I've heard this one mentioned but we do know of at least Handy Notes (sets points) that will mess with the travel system.

I do have Handy Notes installed. It's the only one I can think of that affects the map - but this is literally the only time I've had this problem. I've used the guide to complete all zone quests, and for every WQ I've completed, that's been added to the guides.

It's a hard one to retest, as the quests will only repeat every so often. I suppose all I can do is wait and see whether it happens again with another quest, and avoid turning that one in until I can at least try switching off other add-ons etc.

I had another poke around. I'm sure the coordinates are wrong for this npc. Have a look at this file: "ZygorGuidesViewer\Libs\LibTaxi-1.0\data.lua", line 703 (or search for 114837).

The coords are listed as x=61.73,y=33.99, which is at the point I noted (near Shala'nir). This is quite different than his actual location: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=114837/gyrdaen-windreef .

For reference, I'm using the latest version of the guide: 6.0.14546.

I see this is in the fix list from the latest version. Thanks for picking it up .

Also, adding the Flight Master's Whistle is a great idea!
