Skinnin guide on a Demon Hunter (Alliance)

Step 22 says kill any crabs and serpents in the area. Achieve level 525. The arrow points out to Vasj'ir. There is no explanation on how to get out there and I have yet ben able to figure it out. It would be nice if this could be added to the guide. In the mean time if any one has some guidance I would welcome it.

PS: The portal for Vasj'ir is inactive at this point.

Pro tip: stop using both the 1-600 and 600-700 guides, and hye thee to the Broken Isles. You can skin (or any other profession) to your heart's content, even if the mobs are level 100+.

Of course, if you are leveling a new character, you'd have to use the guides, but your title mentions you are playing a Demon Hunter. So unless there is some reason you want to gather old content skins, just skip them. Same with all the crafting skills.

While you can skill up both Fishing and Cooking from 1-800 in Legion, those two skills are unique in that there is no "Legion" skill cap boost. You will have to train at the old world levels, ie: 25 points before the current max skill. But you never have to leave the Broken Isles, as all the trainers for every skill are in Dalaran.

*EDIT* Adding that except for Fishing and Cooking, all other tradeskills have a maximum cap boost mechanism, either from the trainer right at skill level 1, or a bought item from the trainer or vendor standing right beside.

To add to this, any boosted toons (90 and 100 boosts) and Demon Hunters will need to unlock those older zones like Vash'jir and MoP zones thru the normal questing routes as if you had been leveling up and unlocking them while leveling. You'll also need to do the WoD intro to get your garrison built if you want to have a garrison hearthstone and have easy access to the WoD zones. You should be able to find the intro quests for all of them on the Hero/Warchief boards in your main cities.
