Profession guide not loading.

I was happy to see the inclusion of the leatherworking and Alchemy guide in version 6.0.14673. However I cannot get the guide to load despite twice doing a "repair" on the desktop client. The guide still only goes up to level 700.

Just found it!!!! You need to scroll right down to the bottom, and its under legion. Why I don't know???

Ummm....The only crafting profession my Alchemist has is Leatherworking. There is no Alchemy guide being presented.

When you open the guide selection window click on Home at the top left, enter the Professions section, enter either the Alchemy or Leatherworking section, and in there you should see a Legion folder along with the 1-600 and 600-700 guides. The guides you are looking for are in the Legion folder.

That is where you should be finding it. If you do not see the Legion folder within the specific profession folders then try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game and see if that fixed it

Wouldn't it be more convenient to skip the legion folder in for example "Alchemy" and have it all under Alchemy instead of a folder in a folder if you catch my drift

It is in it's own folder because there are multiple guides that are relevant to just that expansion. If it was just one 700-800 guide by itself then it would not be in a folder.

I have done as you suggested(twice) and I still only get the Leatherworking guide

You do not see a Legion folder inside the Alchemy section? Have you tried disabling all other addons to see if there is some odd conflict causing it to not be listed?

Its working this morning, both Leatherworking and Alchemy are now located in sub folder in their respective profession folders.
