Travel System is Initializing error

Ever since the guide update a couple days ago, I have the arrow stuck on my screen even when the guide is hidden. The caption on the arrow is "Travel System is Initiating" and gets stuck between 97 and 99%.

The repair button and uninstalling/reinstalling the guide does not fix it. I havent tried deleting all the files manually and doing a complete reinstall, tho.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset. You probably have not done step 3.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

This seems to fix the failure to initialize option. The guides are once again usable. Thanks

However, now I do not have the option to change the waypoint arrow skin/theme, and the following items in the Enhancements setting are grayed out and untoggleable.
-Automatically buy guide items (enabled)
-Enable "Sell Grays" button (enabled)
-Automatically sell gray items (disabled)
-Suggest items I can safely sell to vendors. (disabled)

For some reason the Enhancement options are working again. Switching to new characters did nothing, but for some reason creating a new profile under Profiles-Manage Profiles-New Profile fixed this, even on my characters that were grayed out before. Weird.

Still no luck with the arrow skins. Was this option taken out or something? If so, that might have been what was causing the travel system to not initialize.

Yes, the arrow skins were removed because they are no longer being maintained and using them could lead to errors.

For the enhancement options not being clickable, that is sometimes caused by an odd addon conflict that you can work around by disabling your other addons, make the settings changes you want, and then reenabling the other addons.
