Travel assistance snafu
To attempt to fix this issue, I have done a scan & repair in the Zygor client, as well as a re-install. In neither case have I resolved the problem.
In short, the travel system is brain damaged. Click a world quest and receive advice like use the Dalaran hearthstone while already in Dalaran; use the garrison hearthstone then the ring that teleports you to Northrend Dalaran; get directed to Stormwind only to wait on a cooldown for Dalaran hearthstone (um, there's a portal to Dalaran it seems to forget exists); other issues like using the whistle when already closer to your destination than the nearest flight point.
Basically, following travel assistance results in lost time, and never gets you to your destination. In many cases, it just spins you around between destinations without getting you where you're going, meaning things are back to manual problem solving on getting to a destination.
For the longest time this travel assistant also has shown total ignorance of the toys an engineer may have access to that allow for certain teleportation shortcuts, as well as the Innkeeper's Daughter toy that eliminates the need to spend an inventory slot on carrying around a hearthstone. In this last case, unless you carry a hearthstone anyway, the guide will miss advice on hearthing as it never will suggest using the toy.
