Minimap Circles?

Hi there,

When using any quite I get these circles where the start/end of each path is. There is also one that appears over my arrow on the minimap.

This makes it very hard to gather or see where I'm going.

Any advice? I tried to do the "Search & Repair" function in the client and it still happens.

Looks like there might be some odd addon conflict causing the normal ant trail dots to be scaled wrong or something along those lines. If you disable all other addons so only Zygor is running do you get that same thing?

Through the process of elimination, it looks like its a conflict with my favorite UI; ls: UI from WoWInterface.

Never had this issue before and all add-ons are up to date.

Oh well, time to find a new UI. If I find out what is causing it within that UI, I'll post a response. Thank you again for the quick reply.

When was the last time that UI was updated by it's author? Has it been updated for 7.3?

I'm currently having to turn off Zygor when I farm which is a bit frustrating. Not sure what changed, this was working about two weeks ago.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset to see if that has any effect on the mini map dots.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Yeah did a fresh install like you suggested. Sadly still the same thing.

Oh well, still working around it. Love your guys service and I really dont want to go without Zygor guides. Lol...

Try this for a test. It will make even the game act like it's a fresh install. You'll be able to put everything back then by renaming those folders back after the test.


1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

Yeah seems like those circles are gone now with Zygor being the only Addon.

Ok, try adding your other addons back one at a time to see if it shows the issue again. If you do it one at a time and check between each one you should be able to find which one is giving a problem.
