This error is one we can't really fix. The protected function error is one that only pops up when your game client and the server don't agree to what your combat status is. This is normally caused by a small lag spike between you and the server. When that happens it's easy for your game client to say you're out of combat (and the guides can act normally) but the server will then say you're still in combat and give an error because the guides shouldn't be acting normal yet.
