Having taken a look at getting Nightbane, The information - Complete Karazhan and defeat the final boss 100% drop - does not work.
The original requirement to have the Blackened Urn is a quest line that has been deleted. So unless you did it before it was deleted (obviously, I had not), you cannot summon Nightbane after the last boss.
I believe the new information should start with the emote: "The strange chill of a dark presence winds through the air."
After which it is a timed run to get Soul Fragments plus the Medivh's echo and Presence buffs, kill the Curator and speak with Medivh (Not necessarily in that order
).
