confusing guide

Hey there,
I'm new to zygor. I like the style and most of the time it does what it does, but sometimes the guide seems very confusing to me because it let me partly do quests and never completes them and later tells me to abandon that quest?
Talking about the 12-20 horde guide here.
Also that many change overs between kalimdor and eastern kingdoms are pretty strange.
Could you explain the sens to me or is it just a bug?
I worked like 2 hours for quests from crossroads which were later never continued and then abandoned. Or it told me to get a level up through grinding even if I had a completed quest to turn in, it never came back to that turn in quest.

You shouldn't have any quests that you need to abandon, though. Even if you're sent to another zone for a little while, you will return to complete the quests. Classic is not like BFA, where you enter a zone and do every quest, and then move to the next zone. Classic is much less linear, and you go back and forth between zones, to complete quests at their appropriate level.

Well, I know that, I don't even play Retail. But: Your guide literally told me to accept quests and let me do partly things for it, just to never come back at it again and later tell me to delete the quest.
I give you an example:
It told me to move to a specific place to pick up the "Chen's Empty Keg".
Then it told me to do the follow Quest which is named "Chen's Empty Keg".
Then it let me kill several mobs to collect 5 "Lightning Gland" and 5 "Thunderhawk Saliva Gland" which is party of the quest.
To complete the quest there would be one "Kodo Liver" left, but instead, it told me to go elsewhere and later on the advisor told me to delete the whole "Chen's Empty Keg" Quest.
This is only the example for one quest, there were at least 6 other quests which were explicitly told to accept, do parts of it, and later deleted.

So, again: What's the sense behind that, do I have to expect the other following level guides to act similar like that?

The guides does tell you to collect a Kodo Liver. It tells you to get it when you're level 24, right before you go to collect the Silithid Eggs in the 20-24 guide, before collecting the Lightning Glands:

The step takes you in a circular path to find a group of patrolling kodos:

The quest is later turned in in the 25-30 guide, it never tells you to abandon it.

No, my quest log was full and the advisor told me to delete the quest because it's irrelevant for the guide.

Also, another thing is: Since Level 18 it never completes the walking steps. I can do what I want, step EXACTLY on the waypoint which it suggests me, I always have to "mark this step as complete" to get rid of it. This is seriously annoying, because every small step like "leave the building" doesnt complete automatically and I always have to skip or set as complete.....

Oh! Yes, this is actually a known issue we're working on, sorry about that. We need to improve the Quest Cleanup feature to scan ALL leveling guides, instead of only the current guide. If that's what's been happening for the other quests as well, I would recommend just not using that feature for now, until we can get it improved - which will hopefully be very soon.

Hmm, do you have any other addons installed? If so, try it with only Zygor installed, just to see if it still happens. There may be an addon conflict or something, as that is odd behavior that shouldn't be happening.

So, I basically fu*ked up my quest log and deleted needed quest items for the following guides after the 12-20? =/

Okay, if you're only running our addon, I will ask our devs what could be causing this and how to investigate it. I'll get back to you about that, and get you fixed up asap.

Just out of curiosity, for now, try disabling "Enable guide sharing" in the Share Mode sections of the options menu, and see if that helps.

You could try reloading the UI (/re in game chat) as some people say that helps.
