12-20 telling me to pick up quests that aren't there. skipping = more missing quests

so I'm doing the level 12-20 hode quests. it leads me to a quest thats missing. if I skip it just leads to more missing quests and more running around aimlessly wtf is happening. this is beyond frustrating.

I'm level 23, I went back to the 12-20 guide because a bunch of 20-25 quests were doing the same thing. so I thought I might of missed some quest chains. But I've done everything. and still having issues.

I have been having the same problem ALL night. I used the guide up to about level 16-17 and then I did WC for a few levels. I'm level 20 now and even if I try to do the 12-20 guides it takes me places where there are no quests. I then just tried to load the 20-25 guide and the same thing happened. It takes me places to get quests where the npc does not have a quest to give me. I've wasted about 5 hours trying to figure this out. I've moved back and forth from UC to Kalimdor about 5 times. I don't think it's injecting or whatever correctly and figuring out what's been done/hasn't been done. It's merely going by what has been done while the guide has been active.

Oh and it's also auto accepting quests without the option being turned on.

I've tried closing wow classic, uninstalling the guide, reinstalling the guide, opening up wow, and it still shows the first thing i have to do is kill oasis snapjaws for the altered beings quest. I do not even have that quest and when I go to the npc that actually give sit, she doesn't have it to give to me.

You'll need to use the the Smart Injection System process to get "in sync" with the guides. Questing in Classic, especially with a guide, is more rigid, and so if you're coming in on a pre-leveled character you'll need to load the closest guide to your level range and start from step 1, allowing it to skip through all the quest steps you've already done until it lands on a step you can do. If it lands on a flight path or hearthstone step and the next steps are green you can right click the -> forward arrow to skip that and keep going. Once you're on a normal quest step you can do start there. This may mean back tracking a bit through old areas to get "in sync", but once you're in sync with the guide it should even out and work properly from there on out.

Hmm, it definitely should not be doing that. Can you give me some examples of the quests it wants you to do that you've already done?

Is the step showing as green or red? Could you maybe post a screenshot? Also, could you run this command:

/dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(880)

You may need to accept Blizzard popup about running custom scripts.

What quest is it?

It looks like that step is missing a quest tie, so the Viewer doesn't know it's associated with that quest. We'll get this fixed, but for now you can just skip that and it should recognize that you at least already turned it in.
