The addon takes me to Kalimdor to Stonetalon Mountains (contested) so I can die many times to horde? Nice.

It sounds like you're on a PVP server, so that just comes with the territory. There are Alliance quests in Stonetalon Mountains. You cannot get to level 60 without questing in contested zones.

Why not Duskwood? Its way safer.

You do go to Duskwood later in the guide and do almost all quests there.

Probably should get an alternative. When my guild mates heard I was going to stone talon, they recommend against it.

You could just get a group together and run a dungeon or 2, get some loot and exp. Then just skip whatever zone you don't want to go to. However, we can't really account for that, we don't design our guides for PVP servers.
