Zygor guide horrible for classic- Support right out lying.

My thread talking about how horrible the (Alliance) classic leveling guide is, got closed, after one of the support staff said this.


After i pointed out many flaws with the guide, including the alliance guide telling you to go do horde only quests.
which i knew ahead of time, and went to get this screenshot.


There is ZERO tanaris field sampling quest for alliance only, and both of the quests that lead to this item the "Model 4711-FTZ" are rewarded from Horde only quests.

(Another power source is the follow up to "Tanaris field sample" a horde only quest)



so at this point (atleast alliance side) we have a horrible guide that is even worse off then just following a quest addon like questie, as its telling you quests your faction cant even do. And this is taking far longer then most guides for many reasons, way too much travel, skipping easy quests, doing quests out of order (Such as duskwood where you can do 3 very long quests at once, but the guide chooses to get you to do them 1 by 1 at seperate times) Many parts of the guide having numbers VERY OFF "1 bristlehair needed" when the quest actually says "12 bristlehair needed"

what is the plan to deal with this? Refunds, an apology? Cause the guide seems to make you slower then if you just did whatever you came across.

Threads were closed because the current guides will be replaced in a week or so, which means this issue may not even exist anymore. We're keeping tabs of all the reported issues though and will be confirming them fixed in the newer guides once they're released.

Thank you, abit more transparency with stuff like that would be good, also i hope it has abit more research after "This quest is do-able on both factions" when obviously not.

Ran in to ANOTHER horde only quest in the alliance guide it sends you to both the horde only and alliance only quest giver for cleansing felwood...

When I first looked at the Classic WoWHead site for that quest it was showing as both factions. I see today that they've changed it to just the Horde faction on WoWHead. I would have never posted that it was available for both if I didn't see it showing both on WoWHead which is normally a very reliable source for these things. I do know that the WoWHead info might not be totally accurate right now for Classic since there is still a lot of data mining going on, but I tend to trust that source since it's the largest and most accurate of them all.

Just mentioned this in another thread, but transparency guys. Little bits of extra info/communication in certain areas goes a long way.

ive updated and yes while nathanos quests are gone, but there is naxramas and silithus quests which are not out yet.

Just skip those, we are working on updating the Alliance guides. They'll be out and updated soon.
