Grayed out quests

Sometimes, the guide shows a quest for Turn in as gray, similar to when you don't have it. Definitely, I have this/these quest/s, since I see them in the quest log and can actually turn them in. The problem is that the guide addon doesn't recognize them and doesn't turn them in automatically. Yes, I did make sure that they were registered as picked up before by the guide automatically (green).

Another similar issue with quest Safety First, first in Alliance The Hinterlands guide. Shown as already turned in and skipped the part. Might be due to having similar name to another quest in same chain?

Also, does your addon use API to check which quests were done by players or is it manual (in regards also to smart injection)?

Thanks, the Safety First quest issue will be fixed in the next update. The addon basically asks the server if you've completed the quest with X quest id. The problem with the Safety First quest was simply that the quest id was for the previous quest in the chain, with the same quest name, as you guessed.

Thanks. So you are saying that the add-on is able to inquiry the server to see if the quest was completed? Wowhead said that it's not possible to do so outside the game but inside the game it can be done (https://classic.wowhead.com/news=295...s-on-wowhead)? Ty!

Yes, the guide viewer gets the quest completion history from the server in game.

If you want to manually check if you have completed a quest, you want to run this in your chat window

/dump IsQuestFlaggedCompleted($QUESTID)

You will get back either true or false.
