First does the tool share AH scan data across all characters?
Second It would be cool if there was an option for the tool to scan the ah and based on the data what professions were trending the highest gold per hour rather than just give you gold info based on your current professsions.

The manual scan data in the classic guides is done on a per server basis so yes it is shared by all toons on that server.

So generally, the reason we wouldn't show all professions is because most people will have preferred professions and skill in those professions already earned, so it's unlikely they would drop their current professions to pick up the more profitable one, especially consider how long it takes to skill up in Classic. However, this would be useful for people who haven't chosen any professions yet, so we'll take this into consideration.
