    Zygor 2.0 / TomTom

Does Zygor 2.0 still support TomTom? Or is Cartographer absolutely required?

BTW: Thank you so much for all your time and efforts. Zygor Rocks!!!

It uses TomTom. Just install TomTom and delete Cartographer. It should auto detect it.

Is this true Zygor? Can we not use Cartographer? I thought Cartographer was the thing that kept all the points to go to.

No, we recommend using Cartographer. We do not recommend using TomTom, even though the guide may function while doing so.

Ok, I understand the recommendation. If Cartographer is recommended why is TomTom even an option of waypoint addons to connect to? Just curious. I prefer Cartographer as well.

Because we used to recommend it and figured if people want to use it, let them, but we don't recommend it anymore.

Ah ok. Like I said, was just curious. Guessing that's why it can still be used with TomTom? Some people just prefer TomTom for whatever reason?

TomTom is much lighter in weight. When all we really need is the arrow pointer and POI.

If we used Cartographer, which of the 13 modules can be eliminated to help lighten up the load?

One big problem is TomTom is that perfectly correct waypoints show up as inaccurate because of what seems to be sloppy programming. We tried TomTom for a while but after the large amount of complaints and errors it caused, we decided to switch back to Cart.

You only need these "addons" of Cartographer to make it work perfectly with Zygor:

                    Cartographer
                    Cartographer_Notes
                    Cartographer_Waypoints

This will lighten up the load.

Thanx for both of your responses... convinces me to load just those needed Cartographer modules and nuke TomTom.

                        Wow...

... and I love TomTom, light, quick and yes once in a while the Dot was flock'd. Oh well.. umm.. what about Cart 3.x .. its seems to be a nice product - is the current Cart download with the guide 2.x or 3.x?

Just had a long night of questing using the reduced Cartagrapher mods... Worked Perfectly!

I did nearly 2 levels in one evening of playing. 75-77. That's amazing at that level.
