Question on map co-ordinates in guides

In each step there are co-ordinates listed for the next way point. When I open the large map by pressing on the "M" key, there are no co-ordinates listed anywhere. The way point yellow circle shows up, but I would like to see co-ordinates on a map so that in case there are times someone or thott bot refers to co-ordinates, I can locate where to go.

Did I not load something correctly or not turn something on?

If you are using Cartographer, when you open the map, the coordinates are listed at the very bottom of your world map.
