guide not working

i deleted a char and when i went back into game to play another char guide is not working get message lua error-your addons are experiencing a large number of errors and may be slowing down the game you can turn on display of errors in the interface optins
display says-interface/addons/cartographer waypoints/waypoints 1182 attempt to index field tex -a nil value
dose anyone know how to fix this

Here's what worked for me.

1. Logout then from the AddOns, disable Cartographer.
2. Login then press "M" (for the map). Maximize it using the upper right arrow icon.
3. Uncheck "Show Quest Objectives" in the lower right part of the map screen.
4. Loqout then from the AddOns, enable Cartographer again.

Now once you login, the guide should work.

Everyone is giving us shortdcuts, I have been able to run the guide so far by diableing parts of the guide. We did pay money fro this guide, and we seem to do all the work. I would like to know also when the updates will be out. This is a Co. and they need to keep there clients informed and updated.

This is how it always is whenever there is a huge content patch like 3.3. I see you're a new customer so you probably weren't aware of that. So far you haven't had to disable any part of the guide because the guide only has one part, the Zygor Guide Viewer. Cartographer is not part of the guide but is a third party addon used in conjunction with our guide. We only use the waypoint arrow portion of it and none of it's other modules. We are working on an update but these things do take some time.
