Waypoint question

I would like to ask Zygor staff members a question.
As is known at the moment Cartographer is dead addon (not going to be updated) So the question itself:
Is there will be another waypoint system or addon used or you will stick with TomTom? The thing is TomTom is very simplistic addon and does not fully emulate Cartographers waypoint system and have some flaws.

I have read a post by either Zygor or one of the devs that they are planning to create their own waypoint arrow system to replace the dependency on Cartographer. There was no given timetable for when to expect this, so for now we're stuck with using either Cartographer or TomTom.
