Zygor and Blizzard TOS

I have a question about the possibility of getting banned by Blizzard. I saw somewhere that you recommend updating to the latest version of Zygor, as it is not detectable by Blizzard.

Does this mean that if Blizzard did detect Zygor guide, they would ban the user? If so, how can I be sure Blizzard will not find a way to detect even the latest version?

I'm just seeking a bit of reassurance here: you have a great guide (although the 3.3 update for WOW does make questing without it a lot easier), but, on the other hand, I don't want to get banned.

No, you will not be banned. Blizzard simply released new addon policies that all addons must follow. We simply changed our guides to conform to all of the policies, just in case - just so there's not even a chance you could get banned. No worries.

Even when using the old guide that does not follow Blizzard's TOS you won't get banned. Such rules never affect the users, the developers have to take care their addons comply to these rules.

The old guide was redone to comply with the changes by Blizzard to the addon policy. So, to answer your question, the old Zygor guide before version 2.0 is not compliant.
