Interesting read, and approach to the problem. I am not sure that 2,500 gold and a few EoF / EoT would make me feel any better about losing multiple chars.

Even the wife just said (she plays wow also) that if that method were to be forced apon us, we would just quit playing wow. Another idea she had was why not just include the authenticator to the boxed sets and increase the price of them accordingly?
