Issues with Priest Holy Build in Talent Advisor

    Issues with Priest Holy Build in Talent Advisor

    Just wanted to know if anyone else has been having a problem with this. I am working with a low level priest right now and when I set the talent advisor to work within a holy spec, it gives me an error, saying that it is broken and has a problem with "rapid renew: line 20"

    As a side note, I am sure that some people will be wondering why I am leveling a priest in holy and not shadow. Regarding that, I do have my reasons for leveling as holy and would appreciate if comments could be contained to the issue at hand and not my play style.

    I know of one other post from this morning about this. Not sure why it has a problem with that talent. As far as I can tell the build is formatted and spelled properly and should not be giving any errors.

    When you're in game is the actual talent displayed in the talent window spelled exactly like the guide says it should be?

      I have same problem, i am lvl 80 though, and when i picked holy spec, i got the line 20 error, saying rapid renew.... I guess we can just look at the note pad list of the spec... Also, on the quests, i dont know whats going on, i picked the 80 to 85, and i dont get any quests, or waypoints, no quest window... then one time a wave point came up, but when it does, i latency triples, and i really cant even fight

          Thanks cabby, I will give those recommendations a shot and will post again in the event that they don't work.

            cabby, I did those but there still seems to be a problem. Here is my bug report. Everything is spelled correctly which is extra odd.

              Yeah, someone else found out where the problem is. The Rapid Renewal talent wasn't included in the Registering.lua file so the Talent Advisor doesn't recognize it as a valid talent option.

              If you wanted to do a temporary fix for this open the WoW/Interface/AddOns/ZygorTalentAdvisor/Registering.lua file with Notepad. Scroll down to the Priest section and add in the following line (anywhere in the Priest area):


              ["Rapid Renewal"]=95649,

                Also, moving this into the Bugs section so the team will spot the fix I just posted faster to get it into the guides.

                  awesome, i hadn't made it to that lua file yet. I was certain there was something that tied the name to the talent number for localization reasons...
