    Check LUA errors?

Updated to 3.0.1562, but guide shows no text. Got notice to "Check LUA errors and report them", but I can't find any instructions on how to do that. What's the next step?

Note: also ran repair on the Zygor guide; same error. What does LUA mean, anyhow?

Have you tried the steps in this thread yet?

To make it short: delete the Zagor folders inside the addons directory and search for Zygor files in the WTF directory and delete them too before installing the guide.

Ah, yes, the good ol' shotgun approach.

Delete the WTF\Zygor files and say bye-bye to a great deal of state information, including quests already done, flight points learned, etc. Not a good solution. Fix it in the code, not with a nuclear bomb!

Mortnoct, most of the time those LUA errors are caused by corrupted info in that savedvariables file. The corrupted info can't be taken out of the file so the next best thing is to nuke it. It's old v2.0 info that's corrupting the file.

Also, the guides can get your completed quest information and available flight paths directly from the game, no saved variables needed. So, what you said makes no sense - the suggested fix is good, as even if you lose your guide settings, it takes about 30 seconds to set them how you'd like again.
