I deleted all the old LUa setting deleted the addon it self and still get the above error with the count line going by the second .

Getting this too with a clean install of 3.0.1577. This error occurs constantly, every 4 seconds or so.

All addons disabled except for bugSack and BugGrabber.
Just updated the account to Cataclysm Collector's Edition today.

EDIT2:
Version 2.x was working fine. Did most of Loremaster Kalimdor with it since 4.0.3a and a few days ago.

EDIT3. Please let me know what I can do to help find and fix this bug. Right now this is a showstopper for me. I will start leveling with the guide disabled.

I have followed the procedures to make a clean install of the addon with deleting everything related to Zygor, including the SavedVariables. I have not yet tried the method without the installer/updater.

Something I forgot to mention: The error occurs only if Minimap Zoom is enabled, without that option there are no errors. But that feature is one of my favorites! )

Errors are now gone now,but my fps drops from 50 down to 10 0r lower when ever i open the viewer im fine as long as i keep the viewer closed . my fps stays around 30 to 50 . the addon is louded by it self no other addons. all errors are gone now.

And i did all the stuff needed to fix it repairs, delete LUa files , manully install . stiil real bad FPS caused by the viewer being open .

I love this guide it lets me find hard to find quests but i cant use it with dps so low.

IVe done all that if you read my posts it said i DID i have deleted the WTF folder the logs folders and the cashe folder only loaded the guide in the addon folder by it self it still lags real bad never used to. im sure its something on your end, ive done all i can think of to fix it. I know your just telling me to try that stuff to make sure. im sure im not the only one with this problem, but its like i said before im not complaining i m just trying to get this wokring so i can use it.

Ok, by the cache folder you mean the WoW/Cache folder right?

One other thing. When you deleted the Zygor files from in your SavedVariables folder and deleted the Zygor folders from in your AddOns directory, did you do both of them at the same time so that when you installed it was a completely fresh install of the guides as if it had never been installed before?

EDIT:
I went through <WoW>/Interface/AddOns to find that MinimapSize is defined in Astrolabe.lua. Additionally to disabling all other addons anyways, I also physically removed those that packaged Astrolabe.lua as well (TomTom and HandyNotes). But the error still persists. And I don't really know much about Lua anyways.

EDIT2:
Here some Lua error info with even BugSack disabled, after another clean manual install of the Guide.

With clean I mean that I have removed ZygorGuidesViewer and ZygorTalentAdvisor from <WoW>/Interface/AddOns and all global and character based SavedVariables. And manual means I downloaded the Zip and did not use the Installer/Updater.

I realize the error message cuts off but that is what the game gives me:
