Profession Leveling Issue fixed?

Hi zygor

i have a question about the profession guides. E.g Leather working, Tailoring and such.

i had just started leather working fresh on my level 100 character and i started with the 1 - 600 guide, and also the same with skinning.

then once i got to 500, i had to have a friend tell me and show me that i can do it all from 1 - 700 for both leather working and skinning all in Draenor and its 10 x faster..

**And will the new legion profession leveling be introduced into the guide also**

please advise on why this is not implemented in the guides choices..

because i had wasted so much time. and gold!

One thing I have noticed is that Zygor usually gives options, different ones. For instance, in the cooking. You have the option to do it Old school way...Or Halfhill way (where you can level up from 1 to MOP max in a day...), Personally I never worry about what others tell me on the stuff. I always tell them "Zygor says to do it this way...so this is how I am doing it" It upsets them when I dont do it there way., and my favorite question i get is "If zygor told you to jump off a bridge would you?" I decide to be sarcastic with a "yep" I will also point out to, Just because Zygor says it one way,. does not mean you have to do it that way. I noticed way back when in their profession guide, that it works best to level some, then stop work professions A bit then go back & level...so yo ucan keep up with your leveling. Its way easier and cheaper in the long run to do it that way :P I don't work for Zygor, but I can tell you as a long time customer, they will most certainly include Legion Profession leveling. ALL of their guides will include "Legion", so Legion Dungeons, Mounts, etc. All of it will get an upgrade, this does not mean it will be ready right away. I notice your not an elite member, so you will have to purchase the Legion Profession guides or get the monthly membership in order to gain access to the Legion Profession Guides

The profession guides primarily use the older methods for leveling to allow anyone to be able to level the profession no matter what their level is. In order to do the WoD route you need to be 90 and either be willing to farm forever and a day or a good chunk of gold to just buy the WoD mats.

Is the WoD method faster than ours? Yes it can be much faster provided you're willing to spend a lot of gold to do it and you are at least level 90. As an example I took one of my WoD toons and spent 20k in my AH to purchase the Draenor Dust I would need and I used the WoD method to level enchanting from 1-700 in about an hour. I had no real enchanting recipes when I was done but I hit 700 very fast. I would not have been able to do that on say a level 45 toon, which is why our guides use the old method.

As for the Legion profession routes, I have no idea what they will be. In WoD we had guides prepared based on the beta profession routes that Blizzard made available and when WoD went live the recipes that were in beta were no longer in the game and it was a completely different leveling route for all of the profession forcing us to re-write them all. Blizzard may pull the same stunt again with Legion, we just don't know.

In that case, it would be much better to wait till Legion goes live. so it saves your team a whole lot of headache from having to re-write it all over again, right?

You would think, but then Blizzard could mess with us and not change anything and we'd be stuck without having anything ready.

Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches and do what you can.

That would totally suck too if they did that, but I definitely understand. How I look at it..First thing Im doing? Leveling...so as long as you have your leveling & dungeon guide at least half way ready? Im ready to roll...Ok. Not quite. As soon as I have my new video card & cooling system.....and your leveling & dungeon guide at leasyt half way reeady...Now im ready to roll...*&Grabs spell book* lets go level with zygor!

iv hard purchased every guide for horde and will do so with legion.

Thanks and i shall work with zygors way and mine

Reason being for post is cos i have almost one of every class and profession
and i saved all Matts so i can level them all up but i guess bit of old fashion mixed with new will be the way to go
