    Cost of Sub

    Hello!

Does anyone know why Zygor keeps upping the monthly cost? There doesn't seem to be any new features and with how much competition is out there offering a very similar service seems a bit weird, but I could be missing something. Have there been any significant overhauls lately to warrant the $2/mo increase?

To be clear, this is actually the first and only increase we've ever done since subs were introduced back in 2015, so we haven't kept upping the cost. With more expansions being added to retail and classic the amount of content we need to cover and maintain over time keeps growing. The only solution is to either reduce the amount of content covered or to increase our team size. From what we've seen from the community there's a strong demand for us to cover as much content as possible, as quickly as possible, and keep older content fully updated as well. The service cost was increased to allow us to expand our team and achieve this. You should be able to noticeably tell the difference by the amount of content being added, how fast it's being added, and how even older guides retain a high level of quality over time.

Nice try, but you will bleed subs, and rightfully so. There are many addons out there, with more development involved that are free, because those writing them love the game and enjoy writing addons. Zygor is just a money grab now.
