    Client Error On Update to 5.0.11757

    I had the following issue/error from the client when updating the latest Gold and Auction guide -
    1: java.io.FileOutputStream.open(Native Method)
    java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(Unknown Source)
    org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils.openOutputStream(F ileUtils.java:367)
    org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils.writeStringToFile( FileUtils.java:1928)
    org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils.write(FileUtils.ja va:2045)
    org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils.write(FileUtils.ja va:1988)
    com.zygor.updater.util.FileUtil.registerStartupPat h(Unknown Source)
    com.zygor.updater.Boot.launchClient(Unknown Source)
    com.zygor.updater.Boot.main(Unknown Source)

        Client error from me too. Looks like the same thing...

          Did this happen when you started the client up?
          Are you running 32 bit or 64 bit?
          Do you have the startup option enabled or disabled?

            For me, I'm 64-bit, and all i did was boot Windows then go to do something else and came back to find that.

              for me i am on 64 bit and all I did was start up the client and download the latest auction data
