Have you tried using a different browser or if using a VPN trying a different connection?

Currently I'm not able to download anything from the Zygor website. I was also stuck on my client, at downloading update. My internet connection is solid, with a full system restart still hung, so I removed the program, and went to download a fresh installer from the site, tried multiple times, and errors out each. I tried downloading the zipped manual install of the files, even it errored.

Normally if you put the computer to sleep that will mess with it and cause it to get hung up resulting in needing to restart the desktop app. The simple work-around for that is to fully shut down the desktop app before you put the computer to sleep.

That varies, I can try to pay attention to see if happens after it sleeps vs a shutdown.

Do you shut down your computer or put it to sleep?

Yes, I can get past it but it happens frequently, such as daily so something is going on that never used to and I haven't installed anything else on my PC lately (at all).

I know this is a topic from a couple of months ago but I have been getting the same result very often lately, especially after patch to the game from Blizzard. Doing the same thing this morning along with having the addon within the game tell me I am using the trial version and the out of game client showing me as having an Elite Subscription.

Do this for a test. Exit the game and go delete the Zygor folder in the Addons folder but do not run the desktop app to reinstall. Instead go back in game right away to verify that the addon is completely gone.

    already did that several times.

Sounds like the client is just hung. Try right clicking on the small Z icon in the task bar tray (far right side) near the date/time and select Exit. Then use the desktop shortcut to restart the client.

Zygor client stuck on "Check for updates"

Is one of your servers down for checking for new versions of the addons? I keep getting a warning in -game that I have to update but my client is stuck on Check for Updates.
Working...
