All of the following problems are from the Alliance version of the guide. These quests were done by a single level 90 Pandaren Monk.

Kun-Lai Summit (87-88)
Step 22:
Waypoint arrow directing you to talk to the NPC and accept the quests is 9 meters off.
Step 68:
"While in this area, look for Pandaren Prisoner to set free"
No 's' at the end of Prisoner (might not be wrong because it's the NPC name) and no full stop (might not be wrong as well because it's super common throughout the guide).
Step 87:
Waypoint arrow directing you to talk to Lao Muskpaw is 16/17 meters off.
Step 88:
Entering Pranksters' Hollow causes the waypoint arrow to fail and simply state "map 0".
Leaving and entering the cave again solved the issue.
General:
When moving on to some steps, the travel system wants you to take a portal to Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Reloading the UI or moving back/forward one step in the viewer and then back again to the bugged step solves the issue.
