Okay, you will need to open your Battle.net Client and follow Options/Game Settings/(Game Install/Update). Here you will find the directories for WoW. You will need to write down the World of Warcraft directories for Retail and Classic FOLDER USED FOR GAMEPLAY. Then you will need to open the Zygor Client options by clicking the cog icon in the bottom right corner of the Client window. Select "Installations" from the list on the left. To open all three directories for Classic and Retail, please click the pencil icon's next to the first directory for Retail and Classic. Now you will need to use the magnifying glass icon to manually set the directories to follow the directories you found on the Battle.net Client. Once you have set these directories to the correct folders, please click the green checkmark to save these settings. Once you have completed this, please log into a fresh session of the game to see if the issue is resolved. Thank you.

When you look at the desktop client what username do you see on the left side?
Does it show an active subscription below the username?
Open up your battle.net launcher and click on Options (just below the WoW logo) and then select Game Settings. Now on the new window that opens up click on Game Settings on the left and let me know what it shows for the WoW Install Location.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Ok, if you click the Pencil icon to the right side of the WoW setting that will open up and show a total of 3 settings for WoW. Please post a screen shot of all 3 settings in the client.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:

Are you having problems with classic or retail? You posted this in the retail section but now you're showing me settings for classic.
Either way those classic settings are wrong.
C:\Games\World of Warcraft\_classic_
C:\Games\World of Warcraft\_classic_\WowClassic.exe

Ok, open the Zygor updater client and click the gear icon in the bottom right. Now click on Installation on the left side and you'll see WoW listed. To the right side of the WoW entry you will see a pencil icon. Click on the pencil icon and you should now see 3 folder settings for WoW with magnifying glass icons beside them. You MUST use the magnifying glass icons to make the settings the following.
Installation Directory:
C:\Games\World of Warcraft\_retail_
Executable:
C:\Games\World of Warcraft\_retail_\wow.exe
AddOns Directory:
C:\Games\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\Addons
Once that's done click on the green check mark to save those changes and you can then use the back arrow at the bottom right to go back to the main window. If it does not try to do an installation/update automatically click on the check for updates link at the top. That should get it all fixed and working.Become a Fan of Zygor Guides on Facebook:
