Sell to vendor tries to sell my gear set items

I just tried the function "Suggest items i can safely sell to vendors" and it looks like my Zygor is trying to sell items i use in another spec/ gear set because it is an downgrade when im in my other dps spec.
Lucky i noticed and not just pressed okay.
Is this a bug?

It is not a bug. The option to suggest other items you can sell is just a simple feature that shows you pretty much everything in your bags that can be sold to a vendor and are not needed by the currently loaded guide. It does not try to look to see if it is part of a gear set or anything like that.

Then maybe it's a nice feature to implement with an option to toggle it.

Thanks for the reply, that`s to bad, that would have been a great feature for cleaning up all the old items and gear no longer needed.

The new offspec stuff should help with that tho. If you have the offspec option checked in the item score section then it should not suggest any gear it thinks is best for that spec. So if you are on a BM hunter and you have the offspec option checked on the MM hunter weights then any items it deeps to be best for the MM hunter will not be put on the list for suggested items to sell. New option so might have a bug or two so pay attention to the list.

Was the gear set exclusion tested? It may not have been excluding them totally but I swear I was getting a warning notation that an item was part of a gear set when I hovered over them in the inventory manager window. While it would be a huge convenience for it to exclude items you have saved as alternate gear specs, at least text like that would be nice for confirmation and convenient all in the manager window.
