Graphics problem/bug

Hope I can describe this well enough. Ever since the BFA update I get a crazy graphics bug when I'm running Zygor. It's my only add on.

The game will load fine, and the guide will be functioning properly, but randomly after I teleport somewhere or move through certain areas of the game, the screen will just go completely nuts. I get big crazy looking multicolored polygons instead of the game world.

The mouse and keyboard inputs still function and the UI buttons still appear and function, but the Zygor viewer and the rest of the game world are all big blocks of gibberish. I can see myself moving on the minimal, but can't interact with anything or tell where I'm looking or what's around me.

Any idea what's happening here? For reference, I'm on a 2016 15" Mac PowerBook with the added Radeon Pro 450 graphics running on an external display.

That sounds like it might be something with the graphics drivers. Check to see if you have the latest drivers for your card and if you do maybe try rolling back to the previous driver version.

Thanks for trying. Graphics Drivers on Mac OS are part of the operating system, so I do have the latest version MacOS 10.13.6. It only happens when I load the Zygor add-on, the game works normally without it. Any other advice?

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

That seems to have worked! I've been playing a couple of days and it hasn't happened again. Thanks!
