while leveling i noticed i couldn't just jump into some guides as they had previous guides' quests stacked up and steps added. So the real question is, with a fresh boosted char, which leveling guide is the best to jump into during prepatch?

Start with a guide that is a couple levels below your current level. That will give you more room to get worked into the guides with missing prerequisite quests.

Just my opinion, and experience from Beta/PTR so far. When you first log in on a boosted character, you will have a couple of quests telling you to train skills, get talents, etc, then it gives you a quest to go to Eastern Plaguelands. Just doing the quests out there, will get you to 60 really quickly.

Personally, I plan to use the Western Plaguelands guide, followed by the Eastern Plaguelands guides. There should be enough quests there to get me to 60, get some decent gear to start my journey into Outlands on Launch day and have a bit of gold lining my pockets.

I haven't gotten to test with zygor guide doing this yet, so really looking forward to being able to use zygor when prepatch comes out. However, even if you have to skip some quests in the guide because you don't have earlier quests completed, there should still be more than enough in those two zones to hit 60 and have some gear/gold.
