How do I reset the guide so it is not showing any guide open?

There is not a way to do that. Why do you want to have no guide?

I am finihsed leveling my character but want to use zygor to show corpse arrow when dead and no arrow otherwise.. If I have a guide opened it sometimes goes to the next step in that guide showing me the arrow for that next step, same if I use a guide for dungeons, events, or professions (basically want to have all guideds cleared).

Try leaving it on the Children's Week Main Questline guide step 2 (Horde) or step 3 (Alliance). If you have not done that event yet that step has no coordinates so will not show an arrow and since the event isn't completed (potentially) that would mean the step doesn't complete.

You can also use any of the dungeon guides. It's normally only the 1st step that has any arrow and after that there are no coordinates linked to the kill steps since arrows are not allowed to work in instances.
