How do you reset the Gear Finder so it starts to weigh the old gear compared to the new gear?

What exactly do you mean? What old gear?

The armor I have I clicked on decline or whatever it was. Now I can't get it to let me equip.

When you Decline an item it gets added to an ignore list. To clear that ignore list go into the Gear section of the guide viewer settings and click the "Clear declined items" button at the bottom.

I can't find that button. I know I have seen that button before but I just cannot find it again. I need new glasses...
