Click the refresh button at the top of the client next to your username to get the client to see the update as being available.

Do you see the Gold and Auctions guide in your list? If so, try clicking the wrench and re-installing:

5.0.11544 is the version that has the gold guide in it. You should have it available in game now.

I just looked again. It is not showing anything at all. Not when I open the AH or when I open up the guides.
