Greyed out 'Create Auction' button

In my inventory, I have two items:

Smoldering Helm of the Deft
Smoldering Helm of the Peerless

The Zygor inventory window combines them into “2 Smoldering Helm”.

When I drag from the Zygor Inventory window to the Auctions tab, it places one of the items and correctly fills in the price info (price turns green briefly, then white), but the “Create Auction” button is greyed out.

I haven’t experienced similar behaviour for other items, so I suspect it has something to do with the variations in the item names.

I have

2xPattern: Big Voodoo Robe
2xSchematic: Catseye Ultra Googles

in my bags. In my case the create auction icon is greyed as well.

Do you have any other auction addons that might be conflicting?

I have none. All other auctions post fine. I also had 5 Volcanic Breastplate recipes on another realm. Same problem. Actually I remember auctioneer addon had problems posting all 5 at the same time as well. I reported it to the auctioneer developers and they would try to fix it, not sure if they did.

I had the exact same problem with the Auctioneer addon. I had 5 recipes which should be the same and I selected to post all, and Auctioneer said there was not enough of them. If you want me to run any script or macro against the recipes I am willing to do it. As far as I know this has happened since the release of WoD.

Try removing that item from the Auction tab and then do a scan to get information that isn't 11 hour old. Maybe the guide isn't sure if the pricing is good because of old data?

No other auction addons, I've reloaded UI, scan is up-to-the-minute. And haven't experienced the issue with any other item. I ended up just manually auctioning the items. I'll do some more testing as soon as I have a chance.

So much for wishful thinking. Are you able to post the item normally if you're not dragging it out of the Inventory window?

Work around for Grayed out Create Auction button

I have the same problem with some items of nearly identical names. Here is my work-around:

1. Drag the bugged item to the auction window. The Create Auction button is gray.
2. Drag another non-bugged item to the auction window, but keep the bugged item on your mouse cursor.
3. Now with the bugged item still on the mouse cursor, put it back in the auction window. The Create Auction button is lit up.
4. Click Update.
5. Click Create Auction.
6. Repeat for any other bugged items still in the Zygor stack.

I can't wait until you add batch posting. I have over 900 greens that I want to list and dragging them one at a time is not gonna cut it.
