Herbalism Guide waypoints

Maybe I've become lazy in my playstyle when it comes to gathering, but so far the waypoints for herb gathering has been decent. I am not impressed with the SL route. It puts you into walls, trees, up cliffs, down cliffs... It's as if whoever created the route didn't do a good run through, and just created one by looking at a map. Could we please have something a little more to go by here?
